Privacy Policy
How SincereTrend collects, uses, and protects your personal data.
Last updated: July 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SincereTrend (“SincereTrend”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use SincereTrend at https://sinceretrend.com and its related services (the “Service”). We aim to collect as little personal data as we reasonably can.
1. Who we are
SincereTrend is a market-research and portfolio-audit tool for illustrators and designers who sell on stock sites and marketplaces. It ranks stock-illustration topics by buyer demand, supply, and AI-content saturation, and audits the keywords on work you upload. The data controller for personal data described here is SincereTrend. You can reach us at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
We only collect what we need to run the Service:
- Account data — your name (optional), email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
- Product data you create — watchlists, saved searches, and alert rules you set up while using the Service.
- Artwork you upload — images are handled two different ways, depending on where you upload them. An image attached to a message in the AI Advisor is analyzed and then discarded; we never store it. Work you add to your Studio is stored, because the feature exists to remember your style between visits: we keep a small downscaled preview (max 512px) plus the derived style description — medium, palette, style and subject tags. We do not keep your original files in either case. Deleting a piece from your Studio, or deleting your account, removes its preview and analysis.
- Technical & usage data — basic request logs (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) generated automatically when you use the Service, used for security and reliability.
- Cookies — a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in and a preference cookie that remembers your light/dark theme. See §6.
Trend and market data is not personal data. The keywords, metrics, events, and stock-listing statistics shown in the Service are aggregated from public sources and do not identify you.
3. How we use your data
- To create and maintain your account and authenticate you.
- To provide the Service’s features, including watchlists, saved searches, and alerts.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and diagnose problems.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To send you service-related notifications you have enabled (such as trend alerts).
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract — to provide the Service you have signed up for.
- Legitimate interests — to secure, maintain, and improve the Service, in a way that does not override your rights.
- Consent — where required, for example for optional communications.
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose data by law.
5. How we share data
We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate the Service, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms. These sub-processors currently include:
- Hosting infrastructure — Hetzner for servers and databases.
- Network & security — Cloudflare for content delivery and protection.
We may also disclose data if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case we will notify you.
6. Cookies
SincereTrend uses a small set of cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary; others are optional and only set with your consent.
- Essential cookies — a session cookie to keep you signed in and a preference cookie for your theme choice. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from signing in.
- Analytics cookies (optional) — if you accept, we use Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used. Google sets cookies (such as
_gaand_ga_*) and may collect your IP address, then anonymizes it. We use IP anonymization by default and do not enable advertising features. You can change your choice at any time from the consent banner. See Google’s cookie policy and Google’s privacy policy.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies for advertising purposes. Until you accept analytics in the banner, Google Analytics runs in Consent Mode and stores no analytics cookies on your device.
7. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
8. Data retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
11. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
